What is a Blessing Bear?
Blessing Bears are the best way to keep alive the memory of your loved ones. Turn grandma's wedding dress, grandpa's overalls, a family quilt or baby's favorite blanket into a handmade bear to treasure for years to come. Honor a fallen hero - police, fire fighter and military - with a keepsake for their family.
Send us your materials and we will craft an heirloom bear for you!
Step 1: Design Your Bear
Contact us for a personal consultation. Fill out the form here to begin the conversation. We'll discuss your ideas and tell you what to expect from your garment or fabric. Consider adding embroidery for a unique bear with a personalized touch. Each bear comes with a locket and the message “Bear in mind, you are loved by God.”
Step 2: Send Us Your Materials
We can make a bear from most fabrics and textiles – wedding gowns, clothing, men’s suits, overalls, quits, baby blankets, sweaters and more. Consider sending contrasting fabrics to use as accents on the bears. We’ll sew, stuff it with hypo-allergenic filling and add the personal touches. A typical man’s large shirt has enough fabric for one bear. Make sure we know when you need it.

Step 3: Make A Down Payment
We ask for 50 percent down when you place your order. You will receive Pay Pal invoice after you fill out the order form. You can pay online with a credit card or a PayPal account. We also accept personal checks. Mail it to Thea’s Blessing Bears, 906 Mt. Vernon Road, Fairfield, IL 62837..
We’ll send you a second invoice for the remaining balance along with shipping costs once your bear(s) are mailed.
Step 4: Receive Your Bear
You will receive an email with a photo of your bear before it ships. Please pay the remaining balance within 14 days of receiving the package and invoice. Typical turn-around on order now is about 6 weeks after we receive your materials.
